What it is
Attic Armor is a ridge-vent barrier installed during the roofing process. It sits directly under the ridge vent, sealing the gap that pests use to get in — while still letting the attic breathe the way your shingle warranty requires.
Why you haven't heard of it
Attic Armor isn't available at supply houses. We work directly with the manufacturer, and material ships straight from them to our office. Mosaic is their preferred roofing contractor in Georgia and the only certified installer serving Northeast Georgia.
When to add it
The best time is during a roof replacement, when the ridge is open. We include it on our shingle replacements. If you're not replacing your roof, ask us whether a retrofit makes sense for your home.
Frequently asked questions
Does Attic Armor reduce attic ventilation?
No — it's designed to block pests while maintaining airflow through the ridge vent.
Can it be added to an existing roof?
Often, yes, when the ridge cap is removed and reinstalled. We'll look at your ridge and tell you.
